• Government Degree College Vailoo Larnoo, Anantnag was established in the year 2011, and was operating its affairs in two rented buildings. It shifted to its new campus in the month of September 2023, where it is operating in pre-fab huts. The college has carved an image of its own in academic and social circles. 

• This college is one of the developing co-education colleges in the south Kashmir. It is located at Larnoo, which is at a distance of nearly 45 kilometers from the district headquarter (Anantnag). It is one of the remote areas of the state. Students from various plain & hilly localities throng to this college where they find fresh and invigorating environment free from pollution and highly conducive to teaching-learning process. Affiliated to the University of Kashmir, the college recorded excellent results in recent annual UG examinations.

• The college is ever vigilant to grab every opportunity whereby new and novel facilities will be procured and consequently made available to the student community. At present, the college offers courses under B.A. General & B.A. with Computer Applications only.
