Departmental profile

The subject of Computer Applications was sanctioned by the Govt. Higher Education Department J&K UT in the year 2019 in the college, but the affliation for running the said course was granted from Kashmir University in the year 2022. The intake capacity of the subject is 40 . The college was recently shifted from its rented accomodation to its new campus in the month of September 2023, now running in pre-fab huts till the main building will be completed and occupied. The subject of Computer Applications is being taught as one of the subject, which can be opted by any of the students' who is persuing his UG level course in the college. The department is equiped with a Computer Lab which accomodated ten (10)  i5 computer Systems with 20 mbps Jio leased line (LL) LAN and wifi connectivity with a 24x7 Solar power backup besides electricity.  The department has comfortable cross ventallation with AC and fan facility for comfort of the students during different seasions.  The department has One sanctioned post which is filled by one permanent faculty. The departmental Lab is also being used as Browsing centre to cater the needs of the students.
