  • The Department of Physical Education & Sports of the college has been established with an avowed objective of overall development of the personality and promoting sports culture among the youth.  Games and sports has been very distinctive feature of this institution right from its very inception. The institution through the Department of Physical Education & Sports is catering to the needs of enrolled students. 

  • Physical Education, Games & Sports which was earlier considered as an extra-curricular activity is now deemed to be an integral part of total education process. To give practical shape and encourage different games and sports activities, we start our session with the process of enrolment of students after admissions are made in the college.The institution provides an opportunity to the student players to get their participation in State/All India/North-India Inter-University sports tournaments/championships and various National level championships in different games and sports organized by AIU/ other sports associations. The department is organizing a number of Intra-college tournaments through which players are selected to participate in inter-college events organized by University of Kashmir. The department is quite active in organizing trekking trips to various places. 

  • The college has multipurpose outdoor sports field in which cricket, football, athletics, kho-kho, kabaddi, volleyball tournaments are organized on a routine basis.The institution is fully equipped with almost all the pre-requisite facilities for the games and events  like cricket, volleyball, football, table-tennis, chess, carom, hockey, athletics, kho-kho, kabaddi, judo, thang-ta, karate, cycling, road-race, yoga. In addition the department has a TT Hall and Gym/Health Club equipped with latest and sophisticated machinery pertaining to cardio and weight-training. The institution is devoid of Indoor sports facility which hinders to develop indoor games and combat sports, however the college administration is in a process for providing the same in a very near future.
